Meydan is a major UAE developer with headquarters in Dubai, a division of the Meydan Group, a state—owned company operating under His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The biggest brainchild of the company is Meydan City, one of the central districts of Dubai. The main attraction of which is the Meydan Racecourse, the largest racetrack in the world. The cost of the entire infrastructure of the district was about $ 7.3 billion. Meydan City is located on an area of 15 million square feet, it is formed by high-rise, medium-rise and low-rise buildings. It is a full-fledged area with residential and office buildings, promenades, canals and a marina. The total cost of the project is 11 billion dollars. Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City is still under construction, and Meydan is conducting a number of major projects within its framework. In 2012, the developer began construction of the Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid garden-style neighborhood. It is fundamentally different from other areas of Dubai in that it imitates French, English and Japanese courtyards. Horse riding grounds, cycling and running paths are provided.
