Orascom Hotels & Development, now known as Orascom Development Egypt (ODE), is a leading Egyptian company specializing in the development of tourist towns and hospitality businesses. Founded in 1995, it focuses on the comprehensive development of resort areas, including the construction of residential complexes, hotels, and infrastructure such as golf courses, sports facilities, and marinas.
The company manages significant land resources totaling approximately 50 million square meters, located in popular tourist destinations such as El Gouna, Taba Heights, Makadi Heights, Fayoum, and Owest. Its portfolio includes over 20 hotels with a total of around 5,000 rooms.
Orascom Development Egypt is a subsidiary of the Swiss company Orascom Development Holding AG, which was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Altdorf, Switzerland.
