Is it necessary to renounce Russian citizenship when obtaining Turkish citizenship?
No. Turkey allows dual citizenship. Russia also does not officially prohibit dual citizenship, although it requires notification to the FMS within 60 days after obtaining the second citizenship. We recommend consulting a Russian lawyer on this matter.
