Yes, remote purchase is possible. To do this, the buyer issues a notarized power of attorney (Vekaletname) to a representative, either at the Turkish consulate in their country of residence or in person at a notary in Turkey. The power of attorney authorizes the representative to sign the contract, open a bank account, and register the TAPU. The buyer’s presence at the TAPU transfer is not required.
