Fatih is located in the European part of Istanbul, 4 km from the city. It is located in Suriji district, next to Eyup district in the north, Golden Horn in the northeast, Marmara in the south, Zeytinburnu in the west and Bayrampasha in the northwest.
Fatih is the most popular area in Istanbul. It is here that the main attractions and shops in the Sultanahmet, Eminenu Aksaray and Laleli quarters are located.
The Gulkhane, Chamberlitash, Fener, and Kumkapi quarters are no less famous. There are 57 of them in total. This is the most conservative part of Istanbul, where you can most often meet women in closed clothes. Despite the huge number of interesting places, this area is one of the poorest in the city, there are few modern buildings.
