How to prepare an apartment for the arrival of a buyer

Balcony

- If there are smokers in the house, it is necessary to throw away all cigarette butts and wash the ashtrays.
- Odors can be removed with the help of citrus crusts spread over radiators, baking soda or products containing chlorine (they should not be abused)
- At the same time, there are smells that form positive emotions – the smell of bread and the smell of coffee.
- You can make coffee and walk around the apartment with it.
Sounds and noise
- Turn off all sounds – TV, computer, gaming devices.
- If possible, close the windows if you can hear the noise of passing cars or working equipment from them (This does not apply to non-air-conditioned rooms in the summer heat)
View from the windows
- It is good if you can see the sea, green spaces from the windows or beautiful open spaces open to the eye. In this case, leave the curtains open.
- If the view from the windows is not pleasing to the eye – the Windows overlook the wall, the construction site, etc., it is better to keep the curtains closed.
Family member
It is better if by the time the buyers arrive, all family members, except those who will show the apartment, go out for a walk. If this is not possible, let them sit on sofas or chairs without interfering with the passage. It is not necessary to allow the household to walk around the apartment during the buyer’s visit. This creates a feeling of crowd and discomfort.
